Yes you can cry out!

So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself and said unto them, 'he that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. John 8:7

At times there are issues you might be going through due to no fault of yours or even maybe it was your fault but it was a genuine mistake and you are sorry about it. However, so people don't hear and 'judge' you, you keep quiet about it and continue suffering in silence, meanwhile your heart is crying out for help.

You sincerely wish there was someone you could pour your heart out to who will not judge you, listen to you and probably help you but you find it's extremely hard to find who to trust.

Everyone you see looks happy and dandy on the outside so you think to yourself 'will they understand what you are passing through?'

Truth is everyone will need help at one point or the other.

In our verse above, they brought the woman to Jesus who according to them was caught in the act of adultery,  their law was to stone her but they wanted to tempt Jesus so they asked him what he thought. Don't forget it takes two to commit adultery but these people chose who to accuse.

This tells you we live in a fallen world of imperfect humans. What criteria did they use to choose who should be stoned out of the two people who committed the same offence?

Jesus told her accusers they can only stone her if they were without sins themselves, of course that shut them up and they all scurried off.

All the while, the woman was quiet, probably waiting to be condemned by Jesus, a sinless man but the Master asked her where her accusers were and if anyone had condemned her then she spoke out and replied 'no one'. He then told her neither has he condemned her and she should go and sin no more.

My point here is that there might be things you did that you are sorry about and you wish you could turn back the hands of time and people have said to you 'well you have to bear the consequences of your actions' and you are asking 'for how long'?

Your heart is crying for help, you don't know what to do, why not cry out to the Lord for help. He won't turn you away neither will he judge you.

He said he didn't come for the righteous but to call sinners to repentance (Luke 5:32) each time they hounded him for dining with 'sinners'

Jesus isn't encouraging sin but like a caring Father, he wouldn't reject even a prodigal son.
Rather than carry your burdens alone and bottle things in, tell it to Jesus who will bring peace to your heart about the issue and even guide you on what to do.
